Dapatan kajian ini selari dengan kajian yang dijalankan oleh Hamidah, Melor dan Norzaini (2002) serta Zamri dan Mohamed Amin (2003a, 2003b). Misalnya, kajian Hamidah, Melor dan Norazaini (2002) mendapati pelajar universiti yang menguasai BI dengan baik banyak menggunakan strategi mendengar ketika belajar BI. Begitu juga dapatan kajian Yang (1995) dan Kang (1997) yang melaporkan bahawa pelajar cemerlang BI banyak menggunakan KD semasa DLK. Dapatan kajian ini selari dengan kajian yang dijalankan oleh Hamidah, Melor dan Norzaini (2002). Walaupun kajian mereka tidak mengkaji SPB ketika DLK, tetapi dapatan kajiannya melaporkan bahawa pelajar universiti yang menguasai BI dengan baik banyak menggunakan aspek menulis sebagai cara menguasai BI dengan baik berbanding pelajar yang lemah BI. The results are somehow similar to that of Abdul Malek’s (1999) when he found that faculty members of the university (Universiti Utara Malaysia) showed more positive attitudes in usefulness than in comfort/anxiety. The subjects perceived computers as an important tool for them and their teaching.
